Thinking of adding a caique to your flock? 🦜
Meet Puffman—a white-bellied caique who proves these adorable parrots can also be spicy! Watch as this playful clown reminds Mom that parrots are still wild animals and can be unpredictable at times.
Caiques are famous for their energy, silly antics, and cuddly looks, but those little beaks pack a punch. If you’re considering a caique, know that their personality is BIG, their bite is real, and they need tons of enrichment and attention.
💚 Parrots are not domesticated pets like cats or dogs. They remain wild at heart, even when hand-raised.
👉 Enjoy the laughs, but remember: love them for who they are—smart, sassy, and a little unpredictable!

Sadist, don't keep the parrot in a cage, it won't bite!! Put yourself in jail!
Yeah my 4 year old male caique has turned nasty, constantly biting me.
My Caique has a complete melt down every night when it's time to go to bed. No joke when they behave badly, they know it and absolutely love being bad birds.
Parrots are awesome ! But nothing like having a caique life lol! Very different! Worth it all tho !
Should’ve got the chicken
I refuse to believe he is capable of biting 😂😂😂
Bro has crazy eyes lol
My Macaw "Hold my Brazil Nuts" 😂
My green cheeks do the same. I call them the "Beaky Mafia" You never know when you gonna get bit.
My chicken bit me before but that looks painful.
I had my hand on the cage and she tried to bite my thumb off….
She didn't even draw blood, I wasn't even all the way sure if she actually bit me until I kind of felt it a little.
I know you definitely felt that…
I have caique. Def spicy xD but i love him
All animals get spicy sometimes, that is normal behavior.
cockatiels are better their aggressive nibbles are funny
Honestly my cat does worse
He's behind bars either aggressively defending his case or screaming "AND I'D DO IT AGAIN 🤬 TRY ME"
The biggest issue is too many animal rights activists who are WAY too overzelaous, go on and on to new bird owners to not discipline their parrots with physical punishment. They tell you to back off, be slow, ignore the bites. And that is why you have parrots that even when tame will still bite you. Im a certified avian specialist with a decade of experience, and ive seen people with 5x my experience say that BS. But from my experience with MY parrots and problem birds ive rehabilitated, corporal punishment is the most effective way to stop bites. And it fits because its the same way social parrots assert hierarchy in the wild. Stupid to think it doesnt apply to humans. Basically, treat your parrots gently. With patience and love, never hurt them or scare them. But when they make the choice to aggro bite (not a fear bite, only aggro bites.) Use two fingers to firmly smack them on the beak, stoutly enough to scare them but gently enough not to injure them. Garuntee you your birds will stop biting after a few times.
Parrots are spicy. VERY SPICY. Salty too. But they are so worth it… In my experience, especially when bird and human connect, confusion and beak incidents can still happen. For the most part, though, I’ve found that we just expect them to understand us when we have a really hard time understanding them.
Cute little savages. Wouldn't take a million for ours.
What happened? I mean I get one bite, but how do you not stop and get the second
Looks like Puffman got detained by ICE he says he wants a lawyer !
Oh Puffman, so cocky about his cuteness failsafe
Poor Puffy feel imprisoned, and want to get out of his cage.❤😂😊
To translate from Puffmanese:
Am innocent ! Slander and libel ! Will sue for seeb !
Told you; Puffy the vampire 😂❤
❤😮 CHUCKY , SHAME ON YOU !! 🤡😨😆
I'm lucky my white belly rarely bites, and when she does it's more bark than bite. Caiques are sometimes dangerous around small parrots since their bite can be pretty hard.
Puffman strikes again
In this vid , I can see he wants to come out and he wants to be with Baby. .
A bird can be spicy and bite you anyway. zDepends on the bird
Some Caiques never bite. I know those too.
