I was able to potty train my parrotlet using the poo poo command as well. I did my training by recognizing when ever she was about to poop then verbalized “go poo poo” eventually she associated the act with the verbal command and was able to do it when ever the command was said.
How did you potty train him? I have 2 caiques since a week or two and it would save me a lot of effort if they could go potty. 🙂
