Really nice trick if they can do this one, it saves a lot of poop on your clothes!!!
And sometimes she is going to her perch herself to do a poop.
BUT…, it is not without risk, you need to be careful. You have to learn by observation about how often your parrot has to do a poop. The smaller the bird, the more frequently they need to. Parrots have a very fast metabolism (Mine about every 15 minutes) A Budgie about every 5 miutes. I don’t now how often a Macow poops, but is that’s every 20/25 minutes, don’t ask every 5 minutes!!!! Because: Parrots are sensitive to please their boss, It’s is not the intention that a parrot is constantly trying to do a poop to do you a favor and getting some goodies. So if you now how often your parrot has to poop, you can use that information by not trying more often than that.
My parrot is not that senstive to please me, but parrots like kakatoes, Macow’s and some more species really are. Beware off that!!!!
