The babies are now 5 weeks old and doing great. They have a new little friend….a 12 day old baby caique!!

Oh Rita, the brothers have gotten so big so FAST! I tell you what, it's feels like I'm sitting right there too watching those babies. Everytime I watch one of your videos, it brings tears to my eyes, and in a good way. Just the way you talk to them and love on them, my eyes fill just fill up. You treat and talk to your babies like I treat and talk to mine. I I know they learn to understand.

Big Brother and Little Brother looked so cute just hanging out in their feeding trays waiting for their turns….they're all so precious!!!

I read some place that baby Caiques purr when they are being fed. Is there any truth to that? Some times when Dolly is sitting quietly and happy, she seems to be doing something that seems almost like a soundless purr. You can see her tummy area kind of fluttering. I have a lot to learn about birds!
They are so precious! It is so sweet they way their wings and feet flap and jump when they eat. They are so excited and eager!
