Maui is a rescue parrot the suffers from PTSD. It has taken years to earn his trust and for him to have moments of relaxation or fun. Everyday is a battle for Maui. Today he won the battle! Moments like this is a rescuer’s reward!
Parrots like Maui can live 35-80+ years. They are a huge commitment for the rest of your life. Many Parrots are given up the first 3 yrs because of behavioral issues or just life happens.
