Well, First of all, I would like to tell you all that we both are just acting like Nail Cutting just for Fun… The easy way while nail trimming is to hold the bird with a soft towel. Make sure they can breathe well.
Monthly once is advisable.
In the case of a Caique Parrot, we can even use an Electronic Nail Grinder because Caique has strong nails compared to other birds of the same size.
While choosing an Electronic Nail Grinder please check the specification and make sure you select with low noice and vibration.
Give them their favorite treat after trimming. In the hope of getting that treat, my Caique is laying down there for such acts.
For Indian Ringneck Nail Cutting Scissors are more than enough.
