adore this ❤❤ can you please tell me since you live in a hot climate, what temp can your parrots tolerate as a high.. I'm in Northern Ontario Canada and today the bird room went up to 82 F. I keep the cage out of direct sunlight but the big livingroom window magnify the heat, they have many perches to go to out of the sun as it travels by between 4 and 7pm. they also have a bathing saucer attached to the outer part of the cage for bathing, today I put a rotating standing fan about 8 feet away from their large cage to have the air move , they don't seem to be overheated, no panting, open wings but alittle startled with this new item in the room( the fan) I do have a digital thermometer on the wall to keep me posted on the temp at all times. would love your input on what is an extreme temp. winter never posed a problem because the sun is low setting and our trees block the rays from beaming in. 😊 this is my first summer with birds in my new house.
